Not up for a traditional tour of the winelands? Explore Stellenbosch, it's wine farms and quaint side-roads at your own pace. Hiring a bicycle or mountain bike is an excellent way to see the area while doing something a little bit different and keeping active too.
Daily Rental: R150 per day
Hourly Rental: R30 per hour

Currently there are only about 5 or 6 bikes to hire so be sure to get there early to avoid disappointment.

The Stumble Inn backpackers is a vibey backpackers in the heart of Stellenbosch and is a perfect place to base your cycling adventure. The friendly staff will be happy to provide you with a map and give you the inside tips into the good areas to cycle.
Enquire about staying the night should you be interested. They offer both dorms and double rooms.
