The Hermanus Whale festival is a joyess celebration welcoming back the Southern Right whales to the waters of Walker Bay. It's held ever year and is the only Enviro -  Arts Festival in South Africa. The Festival is for all types, young and old. There will be loads of entertainment and music. Some of the events include the Whales and Wheels Classic Car Show, paintball, Wines of Hermanus and Overberg wine region, kids craft market and even a Whale half marathon.The emphasis of the Hermanus Whale Festival is on marine life and protection, respecting nature while appreciating it.
